Mental Health Program
Balance House provides structured, long-term care for men facing mental health and co-occurring disorders. We focus on executive functioning, emotional regulation, and real-world application—helping clients build the skills they need to move forward. With expert clinical programming, strong community support, and a commitment to accountability, we ensure treatment becomes a foundation for life.
Substance Use Disorder
Treatment
Balance House offers a structured, long-term approach to overcoming substance use. We address addiction at its core—focusing on behavior, decision-making, and the real-life challenges that come with rebuilding. Through structured care, real accountability, and a strong community, clients learn how to rebuild their lives without substances. We don’t do quick fixes—just real work with real results.
PhaseI
Our first phase establishes structure, discipline, and accountability. Clients engage in intensive clinical programming, daily routines, and peer support designed to break destructive patterns and rebuild stability. This phase sets the groundwork for long-term success by reinforcing responsibility, consistency, and real-world application.
PhaseII
Phase II gives clients room to apply what they’ve learned while keeping the right level of structure. With 10 hours of clinical programming each week, individual therapy, medical check-ins, and case management, they stay on track while taking on more independence. Daily routines, outside meetings, and peer-driven accountability ensure they’re not just going through the motions—they’re proving they can handle what comes next.
PhaseIII
Phase III is about stepping up. Clients take full responsibility for their routines, commitments, and next steps while staying connected to the structure that got them here. By now, they’ve built discipline, secured a sponsor or equivalent, and established a steady routine. The focus shifts to applying everything they’ve learned—work, school, and life outside treatment—while maintaining accountability within the community.
PhaseIV
In Phase IV, clients take full ownership of their routines, balancing work, school, and personal commitments while staying connected to the Balance House community. Structure remains in place, but the focus shifts to maintaining progress without constant oversight. Support is always available, but the responsibility now falls on the client to apply what they’ve learned and keep moving forward.
Features
We provide structure, accountability, and a range of experiential therapies that push clients beyond their comfort zones. From fitness and hands-on mechanical work to music, photography, and time outdoors, clients engage in real-life experiences that reinforce growth.
