For Clients
At Balance House, authenticity and quality care are at the heart of everything we do. We know that what truly makes our program meaningful isn’t something you can fully capture in a brochure. It’s the real support, connection, and life-changing experiences that happen here every day.
Our Approach
Our approach is simple and honest. We believe in being clear and transparent, so people truly understand what we offer and what to expect. That kind of straightforward communication helps create a supportive, grounded environment where clients can actually do the work and grow.
We know real recovery does not come from fluff or one-size-fits-all care. It comes from genuine connection, direct support, and taking the time to really know each person. That is why we focus on individualized care, meeting clients where they are, and walking alongside them as they find their own path to healing.
At Balance House, everything we do is about building trust, understanding, and a strong foundation for real, lasting change.
Our Ask
At Balance House, we focus on what is strong in you, not what feels broken. We truly believe you are not as damaged as you might think, and often it is that belief alone that gets in the way of real progress.
Our programs are tailored to you, offering personalized support while recognizing that meaningful change starts with your own willingness to show up and do the work. We are here to walk alongside you, support you through the hard parts, and help you take ownership of your journey forward.
Our Services
Our program offers 24/7 support from a dedicated team, regular drug testing, and a wide range of activities designed to build connections and have fun. From skiing, rock climbing, river rafting, backpacking, golfing, fishing, and paintball to one of the largest healing focused intramural sports programs in the country, there is plenty of room to move, explore, and enjoy yourself along the way.
Balance House Beliefs
You will work closely with a primary therapist through individual and family therapy, while also participating in both clinical and experiential groups. Along the way, you will build practical coping skills to help manage challenges, regulate emotions, and navigate life outside of treatment. Just as important, we encourage you to bring joy, adventure, and the things you love into your recovery, so your program feels personal, meaningful, and true to who you are.
As we put this website together, it became clear we were really writing to you. Someone who might be struggling with substance use, mental health challenges, or simply feeling overwhelmed by life. Whether this is your first time reaching out for help or you have tried before does not matter. What matters is that something feels off, even if you cannot quite explain it. That feeling can be painful, confusing, and incredibly isolating. If this resonates, you are not alone. We truly understand how hard it can be to live in your own skin during moments like these, and we want you to know we are here, ready to walk alongside you.
The approach we have outlined comes from a lot of thought and real experience and is designed to address gaps we have seen in treatment. At the same time, we know recovery is not one-size-fits all. Not everyone needs the same level of care, and flexibility matters. We would love the chance to talk with you, learn more about your situation, and shape a plan that truly fits your needs and where you are right now.
Healing doesn’t happen overnight. If you’re looking for an immersive, life-changing experience, reach out to our team.
